Vanessa has over a decade of experience in college admissions. She was the Associate Director of Admissions at Wentworth Institute of Technology before holding remote positions in the admissions offices of Colgate University and Suffolk University following the birth of her two sons. Vanessa is also an application reader for Questbridge, a non-profit organization that assists low-income students with the college process.

My approach:
“Getting to know students and their families through the college search process is very special; this is an exciting time. Choosing a college is a big decision and it can be daunting trying to find a place where one will thrive while also considering the financial implications of one’s decisions. My goal is to help streamline the process by breaking it down into simple steps and (hopefully) making it enjoyable! There are many colleges to consider, but a thoughtful search, quality application materials, and a methodical process can allow all students to end up at schools where they will excel.”
What I love most about what I do:
“I enjoy getting to know each student and learning what makes them special. The self discovery that occurs as students go through the college application process is a one of a kind experience. I love to see the students light up when they realize there is a college experience suited for their individuality that they can identify with and get excited about.
It’s a great honor to help bring that out in each student.”
How I enjoy spending my spare time:
“When I am not working you can find me spending time with my husband, our two sons and labradoodle. I enjoy being active and recently ran my first marathon. I love living near the coast with easy access to the beach and boating on the Merrimack River.”
