In Her Own Words:
My approach to college counseling:
“At Campus Bound, my job is to help students present their genuine, best self through their writing of essays. My approach is encouraging, while straightforward and constructive. One of my core strengths is helping all students reach their greatest potential, while staying on task. College, for me, was eye opening and extremely profound, as it should be for all students. Helping students be accepted to a college that “truly fits” is incredibly rewarding, and I can’t think of a better job than helping students accomplish that goal.”
Things I love most about the process:
“What I love most about the college process is motivating students to express themselves through their very best writing. Typically, students have excellent ideas for their college essays and simply need the right blend of encouragement and constructive criticism to really polish them up. A college essay is a student’s most personal opportunity to demonstrate his or her authenticity and ability to shine at college—its importance should not be overlooked.”
How I enjoy spending my spare time:
“I will read literally anything I can get my hands on—although I’m partial to fiction above all else. I spend the majority of my time keeping track of my 3 children (primarily at hockey rinks), but enjoy planning and engaging in travel adventures with my family in my spare moments!”
