Legacy College Candids

While the college-specific videos below were created several years ago, they may still contain relevant information that high school students may find helpful. Our current, topic-focused videos can be found here.

Many people wonder what college admissions officers consider when reading an application. Through College Candids, admissions officers from around the country share their perspectives on important questions such as: What makes a good college essay? Do you have any advice for students who are applying to college? What kind of student is a good fit at your school?

Our team is constantly learning about colleges and their admissions practices. Below is a sampling of clips from interviews we have conducted with a variety of colleges over the years. We encourage you to take some time to listen to their responses for keen insights into the college process and to learn about unique attributes of each school.
