Meet Gabby

Time has flown by so fast, Gaby can’t believe her friends have narrowed down their choices and are talking enthusiastically about “next year”.  Her parents are frustrated that she has procrastinated away the summer and the beginning part of the school year.  They are aware that deadlines are looming, but have found Gaby to be uncooperative in setting up a realistic plan.  There have been many conversations ending with “I have it handled”, to more recent discussions ending in tears.  Gaby and her parents realize she needs to break this process into multiple pieces.  Taking the first step and then other smaller steps will be the way to ensure Gaby makes the best choices for her.

Campus Bound was able to remove the family tensions by focusing on college as a “project” that every one could be involved in.  We systematically put parts and deadlines in place to remove the “overwhelming” feelings Gaby was experiencing.  We were able to keep Gaby on track, removing the emotions and help Gaby do her best and increase her chances for gaining admission by being ahead of the deadlines.
