Meet Fred, a Parent: 

Having grown up in Eastern Massachusetts Fred wanted his son to stay close to home, possibly even commute to school in order to save money.   His son Peter wanted to look at colleges on the west coast.  He was ready to break out of the mold and try something new.  Fred was very concerned about his son taking on significant debt.

Through conversations and in-person meetings with both Fred and Peter, Campus Bound was effectively able to get everyone on the same page by asking the right questions and providing key facts so that both father and son would be able to find opportunities to meet their needs.  After Fred and Peter were able to realize on their own the pros and cons of the different alternatives they ended up at a middle ground--a school that was far enough away from home to allow Peter the “college experience” but also offered a strong merit package which eased Fred's concerns about cost.
